With the arrival of warm days, nature offers us an abundance of fresh fruit, perfect for creating light, colourful and flavourful desserts. At ONI, we value simplicity combined with quality ingredients. That’s why we’re sharing three easy recipes that emphasise the natural sweetness of our fruits.
Light, crunchy on the outside and creamy on the inside, pavlova is an elegant dessert that is very easy to prepare.
Preheat the oven to 120 °C. Line a baking tray with greaseproof paper and draw a 20 cm circle as a guide. Whisk the egg whites, gradually adding the sugar until you get a shiny, firm meringue. Incorporate the vinegar, starch and vanilla with a spatula.
Then shape the meringue into a circle, creating a cavity in the centre. Bake for 1.15 to 1.30 hours. Leave to cool in the oven with the door ajar.
Finally, whip the cream with the icing sugar until stiff. Cover the cold pavlova with the whipped cream and decorate generously with fresh seasonal fruit, produced and distributed by ONI.
Practical, eye-catching and perfect for impressing without complications, these mini tarts can be made with shortcrust pastry or puff pastry, filled with pastry cream and topped with fresh fruit.
Bring the milk to the boil with the sugar and vanilla. Separately, mix the egg yolks with the cornflour and add a little of the hot milk, stirring well. Pour everything back into the pan and cook over a low heat, stirring until it thickens. Leave to cool completely.
Fill the pre-cooked bases with the cold cream and decorate with chopped fresh fruit, spread evenly over the top.

Peel and cut the fruit of your choice into uniform pieces. Drizzle with orange or lime juice, toss well and finish with chopped fresh mint. Refrigerate for about 30 minutes before serving – the flavour will be even more refreshing.
